From 18 December 2020 to 15 January 2021

All health service providers included in the network of antigen collection centers will 

perform examinations to determine the presence of SARS CoV-2 virus antigen by POC antigen tests in all persons  that wish to take the test and have public health insurance in the Czech Republic. The test cannot be taken more than once in 5 days.

Examination is not performed on persons who have undergone isolation due to COVID-19 at least to the extent of the applicable emergency measure of the Ministry of Health regulating the regulation of isolation and quarantine and at the same time no more than 90 days have elapsed since the first RT-PCR test with a positive result, and , which has been subjected to a negative result by an RT-PCR or POC antigen test in the last 5 days.

Confirmatory test must be performed to determine the presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus by RT-PCR to a tested person who does not have clinical signs of COVID-19 but has tested positive by the POC antigen test for the presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus antigen. At the same time, the tested person is instructed to undergo a confirmatory RT-PCR test without delay.
